Job summary

Detail2 Limited is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead site activities across the Essex area. The role focuses on day-to-day site management, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring programmes are delivered on time and to high safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have construction site management experience, CSCS, and preferably SMSTS, with the ability to read drawings and manage multiple trades across UK sites. A strong benefits package is on offer.

Qualifications

• Construction/site-management experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and construction activities.
• Strong awareness of health & safety requirements.
• SMSTS or equivalent site-management qualification is highly relevant.
• CSCS management-level card.
• Ability to read/understand construction drawings and programmes.
• Willingness to work on construction sites around the UK.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management and coordination.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Planning and monitoring the construction programme.
• Ensuring work is delivered to required quality, programme and safety standards.
• Managing site logistics and sequencing of works.
• Health & safety / site compliance.
• Liaising with the wider project-management and construction teams.
• Monitoring progress through to completion/handover.
• Experience reading construction drawings and programmes.
• Coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on construction sites around the UK.
