Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. seeks an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations on a high-end bespoke project in Stamford. You will own delivery, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure work meets programme, quality and safety standards.

The role is senior and hands-on, requiring strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS are desirable qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or Senior Site Manager.
• Experience in high-end, bespoke or luxury construction.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site management.
• Strong subcontractor and trade management experience.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety and site compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, labour, suppliers and deliveries.
• Monitor progress against programme and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain exceptionally high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Manage site health & safety and ensure all procedures are followed.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting progress, quality or delivery.
• Manage inspections, snagging and completion works.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks and any issues requiring attention.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of a high-quality construction project.

This is a senior, hands-on position suited to someone who is confident taking ownership of site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered to an exceptionally high standard.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and will play a key role in maintaining programme, quality, health & safety and overall project delivery.

You will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and take pride in delivering projects to a very high standard. The ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders and take ownership of site delivery is essential.

Key Requirements

• Excellent understanding of health & safety and site compliance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and take responsibility for project delivery.
• SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS qualifications.
• Experience with complex refurbishment or heritage projects would be advantageous.
