Construction/Purchasing Administrator/Accounting Assistant

Northampton - Office based

£25,000 + Pension + Holiday + Private Medical insurance + Training

Join this dynamic team as a Construction/Purchasing administrator. You will be working on the company's invoices, managing materials orders, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis. The Role:

  • Providing comprehensive office support including telephone, email, social media, and general administration duties.
  • Weekly payroll management; checking timesheets against vehicle trackers, entering data into the master spreadsheet, and liaising with accounts for processing payments.
  • Generation and issuance of sub-contract orders.
  • Processing and managing purchase orders for engineering materials, components, and services.
  • Maintaining accurate purchasing records, supplier details, and procurement documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and pricing.

The Person:

  • Experience with order processing and maintaining purchasing records.
