Brown and Wills Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading Main Contractor in Yorkshire to hire an experienced Proposal Manager. You will own the bid process, coordinating with estimating, commercial and operations teams to craft high-quality submissions for major projects and framework opportunities.

Expertise in bid management, strong writing and editing skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Proposal/Bid Manager or Coordinator role within the construction industry.
• Experience working for a Main Contractor or a larger construction business.
• Experience of public sector or major client frameworks.
• A strong track record of coordinating complex, high-value bids and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication, copywriting and editing skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the bid and proposal process from submission to final delivery.
• Collaborate with estimating/pre-construction, commercial and operations teams to deliver compelling proposals.
• Support framework bids and renewals, ensuring responses meet client requirements and evaluation criteria.
