Job summary

Massenhove Recruitment Limited is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to engage mid-market and SME clients across the UK, with a particular focus on construction and property professional services.

You will identify new prospects, communicate insurance solutions, support negotiations with clients and insurers, and help onboard new business while building knowledge in professional indemnity and pursuing CII qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance market and sales.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Sales and negotiation abilities in a fast-paced market.
• Detail-oriented with meticulous record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective clients to introduce, gather relevant insurance information, and support negotiations with both clients and insurers.
• Identify, research, and develop new sources of prospective clients to expand presence and market reach.
• Work closely with brokers and account handlers to support onboarding and development of potential new clients.
• Accurately maintain client and prospect records on CRM systems and keep information up to date.
• Build a strong foundation of Professional Indemnity Insurance knowledge, including working towards and achieving CII insurance qualifications.
• Participate in structured training and development programmes to build core skills for success.
• Contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for learning and growth.
