Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Leeds or Manchester is recruiting a 4–6 PQE non-contentious Construction Associate to work on UK and international energy, infrastructure and development projects. You will contribute to complex matters across the development lifecycle and collaborate with leading clients in a market‑leading team.

You will lead workstreams, draft and negotiate contracts (JCT/NEC/FIDIC), advise on procurement and risk allocation, and mentor junior colleagues while expanding the practice’s

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
• Experience advising on complex construction and engineering projects across energy, renewables, utilities, infrastructure, data centre and development sectors.
• Strong drafting, analytical and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support workstreams on major UK and international construction and infrastructure projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of construction contracts and related documents.
• Provide strategic procurement and risk allocation advice to diverse clients.
