Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Small Works/Construction Project Manager to deliver minor and major projects across Scotland. The role involves cradle-to-grave management of M&E, fabric and specialist services, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced technical environments, CDM training, IOSH/SMSTS qualifications, and a valid driving license. NPPV1 clearance and flexible site work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hard services projects.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements affecting client properties.
• Understanding of NEC4 TSC framework beneficial.
• CDM training and experience.
• Excellent communication and written reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate capital works across Scotland through vetted suppliers.
• Own customer relationships and drive issue resolution as a single team.
• Deliver lifecycle and capital programmes in building fabric, roofing and life-cycle replacements.
• Manage all project activities with correct delivery teams and documentation.
• Lead pre-start meetings, inspections, handovers and site Walkarounds to ensure quality.
• Oversee subcontractor delivery and resource coordination.
• Maintain CPPs, H&S docs and variation processes.
• Support local community initiatives and SME engagement.
• Establish contract performance management with targets and reporting.
• Provide necessary support from management and wider OCS team.
• Manage commercial risk per OCS procedures.
