Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Project Manager in Guildford to lead delivery on multiple sites across the region. You will manage projects to meet time, budget and client specifications while upholding safety standards.

As a key leader, you will coordinate designers, suppliers and construction teams, manage risks, and ensure regulatory requirements are discharged. CDM knowledge and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing multiple teams.
First class project management capabilities with a track record of delivering to client expectations.
Experience in developing a performance culture.
Advanced communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of CDM.
Commercially astute with leadership and delegation skills.
Aware of health and safety responsibilities and adheres to policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects on time, within budget and to client specification.
Lead the Commercial Team to manage costs and maximise cash flow.
Engage with designers to ensure safe, buildable, timely design within detailed design phase.
Plan and facilitate collaborative workshops as required.
Interview, select and onboard staff for the scheme.
Ensure pre-commencement and regulatory requirements are discharged.
Plan, prepare and oversee site delivery and risk management.
Oversee site offices, temporary works coordination, and resource deployment.
Ensure internal and external reporting and performance management.
