Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support UK civil nuclear site activities for the Hinkley Point C project and the Turbine Hall construction for Units 1 and 2. Job description

• Support UK civil nuclear site activities for the Hinkley Point C project and construction of the Turbine Hall for Units 1 and 2.
• Serve as the on-site focal point for contract, administrative, and organizational coordination of a single work package.
• Coordinate communication among site teams, project functions, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve production roadblocks.
• Monitor contractual obligations and prepare, support, and track correspondence, variations, claims, non-conformities, and formal notifications.
• Manage project documentation, including procedures, drawings, reports, and quality files.
• Support internal and external audit preparation.
• Act as the daily interface with site teams, project functions, subcontractors, project partners, and the client.
• Prepare and participate in coordination meetings, planning reviews, and project performance discussions.
• Consolidate and communicate progress, risks, deviations, and other key information.
• Develop and streamline processes to address site challenges.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports with KPIs, risks, and cost/schedule deviations.
• Monitor project trends and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain dashboards and project monitoring tools using the SQDC approach.
• Prepare invoicing inputs, track costs, and support subcontractor payments.
• Support procurement activities and contribute to budget monitoring.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure project management.
• Strong understanding of contract management (EPC, subcontracting, variations).
• Proficiency in reporting tools and document management.
• Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality aspects on industrial sites.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-cultural and international environment.
• Rigor and ability to prioritize and adapt to time-constrained environments.
• Proficiency in planning management.
• Experience or Knowledge in the nuclear industry or experience on a power plant site would be a plus.
• Language: English (fluent).
