Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial construction projects from pre-construction to completion. Based in Bedford, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while coordinating with pre-construction and construction teams.

The role offers a salary up to £55,000, with five days in the Bedford office and site visits. Some remote work may be considered as the team evolves.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial construction projects.
• NVQ Level 6 and CSCS card desirable.
• SMSTS training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys and technical meetings to define client specifications.
• Prepare contract programmes and cost schedules.
• Negotiate with and allocate work to subcontractors.
• Manage multiple projects across locations.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget and to client satisfaction.
• Order materials from technical drawings and call off where needed.
• Use initiative to solve problems and report progress to management.
