Job Description

We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Project Manager/Estimator. The following is a list of responsibilities that the position requires:

• Oversee multiple projects from bid to punch-list/closeout
• Contract & Change Order processing including developing scope of work for each trade
• Processing and reviewing submittals and shop drawings
• Identify & oversee potential suppliers and subcontractors
• Setup and maintain project schedules
• Attend weekly meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors
• Provide support to field crews; promote safety at all times
• Maintain positive relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work as part of a project team alongside other managers as well as owners, engineers, and design professionals.
• When estimating a potential job, obtain information from site visits, drawings, specifications, and experience to determine the total cost of a potential project.
• Review all subcontractor and supplier bids for inclusions and exclusions to determine the real value of that bid and which one to use on the proposal/estimate.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years in commercial project management
• Project estimating experience including design/build proposals
• Experience with government contracts
• Self-motivated, well organized, maintain detailed records, and schedule/deadline driven
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Timberline/Sage Contract Management program
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License
• OSHA 30 Certificate
• Strong technical & communication skills are critical
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Present themselves and the company in a professional manner at all times
• Must be already living within 60 miles of Manchester, NH
