Location: UKRI STFC, Oxford

Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

Job Type: Fixed Term / Full Time - 6 Month Contract

Duties include:

• Oversee projects and support reactive maintenance across the UKRI-RAL contract
• Plan and manage complex specialist projects as identified by the Senior Contracts Manager
• Review incoming projects and allocate internal staff resources
• Identify and interpret project design criteria and engage specialists and sub-contractors
• Engage sub-contractors and support the Commercial team in site surveys
• Ensure effective project planning, monitoring, and control
• Deliver projects within programme and budget
• Ensure compliance with all procedures and health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Manage and monitor sub-contractors
• Assist with scheduling, report preparation, and client meetings
• Maintain contractual records and compile H&S files upon project completion
• Manage Trainee Project Manager and promote best practices

About You

Technical Competencies

• Experience in a construction-based Project Management role
• Strong communication and management skills
• Experience delivering commercial projects up to £1mil
• Desirable: experience in the science sector
• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope and value
• Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office
• Excellent presentation skills

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge of NEC 4 contracts
• Knowledge of MEP systems
