Job summary

We Are Footprint in Leeds is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a £40m refurbishment and fit-out on a commercial building, working for a Tier 1 main contractor in the heart of the city.

You will coordinate a design and delivery team, manage subcontractors, and ensure programme, cost, and safety targets are met on a live occupied site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1/main contractor.
• Strong refurbishment / commercial / fit-out background.
• Confident managing subcontractors, consultants and client teams.
• Strong programme, commercial and health & safety knowledge.
• Ideally experience working on complex live/occupied environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refurbishment and fit-out on site for a major commercial project.
• Coordinate design, supply chain and construction interfaces to maintain programme.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants and client teams to achieve targets.
• Ensure safety, cost control and quality on a live, occupied site.

PROJECT MANAGER - TIER 1 MAIN CONTRACTOR

We are currently working with a Tier 1 main contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a major £40m project in the heart of Leeds.

The project involves the full refurbishment and transformation of a commercial building, including:

• New roof


• Major M&E replacement


• Internal fit-out


• Grade A office space


• BREEAM Excellent / high sustainability targets


• Working alongside a major public-sector client

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1/main contractor


• Strong refurbishment / commercial / fit-out background


• Confident managing subcontractors, consultants and client teams
