Job Description:

The HACS Group is an independent Construction, Building & Civil Engineering services contractor based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Established in 1985 by Managing Director Mark Smith, we have built a reputation for quality and reliability in delivering medium to large-scale projects up to £20m.

Due to increased workload, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This permanent position involves managing projects valued between £3m and £20m within a 30-mile radius of Harrogate.

The successful candidate will be involved in all project phases, from Pre-Construction to on-site management, including overseeing internal staff and subcontractors, health and safety, works programming, and liaising with clients and architects. Responsibilities also include procurement of materials and subcontractors to ensure high-quality delivery within deadlines and budget.

Experience and Qualifications required

• Proven track record in delivering construction projects on time and within budget
• Minimum of 10 years of Site Management experience
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes and industry best practices
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Project
• Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
• Experience in people management and excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills and a minimum SMSTS qualification
