Job summary

FindCore is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy to recruit a Project Manager for a permanent role in Glasgow. You will lead construction and property projects from feasibility through to handover, acting as the client’s primary contact and coordinating design teams, contractors and other stakeholders.

The role requires a strong track record in project planning, cost control and risk management, plus a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client-side environment.
• Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, procurement routes and contract administration.
• Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and property projects from feasibility through to completion and handover.
• Act as the primary contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, design teams and wider stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
• Produce programme, financial and risk reports for clients and Directors.
• Chair project meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Support procurement, contract administration and project governance.
• Monitor quality, costs, change control and key financial milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow.

Salary

£55,000 - £75,000 + performance-related bonus + additional benefits

• Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
• Membership of RICS, APM, CIOB or ICE would be beneficial, although professional-development support is available.
