Job summary

CNX Recruitment is partnering with a leading fit out and refurbishment contractor for a major project in Northampton. The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery on a secure, highly regulated environment.

You will manage site teams and subcontractors, liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain programme progress and compliance. The role requires strong leadership and proactive problem-solving, with willingness to travel for

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on construction projects.
• Experience with Ministry of Justice (MoJ) frameworks is highly desirable; note this is not a prison build.
• Strong understanding of site operations, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel due to future framework requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities and manage site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme schedules and project specifications.
• Enforce health, safety, and quality standards on site at all times.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
