PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Planner to join a live large commercial project in Birmingham. You will be integral to the client's delivery team, shaping schedules and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time project execution.

The role focuses on risk mitigation, progress monitoring, and effective communication across the project team, leveraging leading planning software to optimise efficiency. A relevant construction management qualification is required.

PSR are working with a contractor undertaking a large commercial project in the Northwest. The Contractor requires a Planner to get involved with a scheme in Birmingham. We are looking to recruit an experienced Planner to get involved with a live construction project.

You will be an integral part of our client's delivery team. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging new build project, utilising your expertise and contributing to the successful planning and execution of a large commercial project.

Day-To-Day Duties

• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring they align with project objectives and timelines
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather relevant information for accurate planning
• Conduct risk assessments and provide proactive solutions to mitigate potential delays
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing deviations from the schedule
• Work closely with the project team to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Utilise industry-leading planning software and tools to optimise project efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of new build projects, with exposure to projects valued up to 100 million
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualification in construction management or a related field
