A leading global law firm in London seeks a Paralegal for a 3-month contract in their Construction team. This role involves drafting contracts, managing caseloads, and advising on construction law across UK and international projects. Their Construction team sits at the heart of major deals and negotiations and is now looking for a capable Paralegal to join them on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month contract.
This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a busy and collaborative team, working directly with partners, associates, trainees and another paralegal on substantial non-contentious construction matters.
What you’ll be doing:
• Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, warranties, bonds and related documents
• Supporting with research, client updates, and team training materials
• Advising on JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts across major UK and international infrastructure projects
• Managing your own caseload and contributing to wider team initiatives
• Supporting on procurement strategy, contract risk analysis and legal documentation
What they’re looking for:
• Strong paralegal experience in non-contentious construction law
• A solid understanding of JCT, NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts
• Excellent attention to detail, strong research and drafting skills
• Confident, organised and proactive — someone who can hit the ground running in a high-performing team
• Legal qualifications and prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal setting
