Job summary

Wates Group is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead multiple MoJ framework projects across Warrington or London, with travel to sites as required. You will deliver refurbishment, maintenance and capital works in secure environments, from inception to completion.

You will oversee Site Managers and Project Managers, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget control, while building strong MoJ relationships and driving continuous improvement. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or Project Manager roles.
• Strong leadership and communication, with multi-project delivery.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and leadership across multiple live construction projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Lead and support Site Managers, Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with MoJ stakeholders, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Support commercial performance, forecasting and resource planning across the project portfolio.
• Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across all sites.
