Job summary

Ambit is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead projects from planning through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. You will oversee site operations, manage contractors and resources, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid background in construction management. A full driving licence is essential, and you will work on site in London with a proactive, results-driven team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Construction Manager or senior site leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and health & safety regulations.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and resources.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and project teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues and risks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and resource plans.
• Manage project budgets, costs, and financial reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and project review meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice across project delivery.
