Job summary

Ambit is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support delivery of projects in London. You will work with Construction Managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

The role focuses on coordinating site activities, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation and supporting day-to-day running of construction projects. Ideal candidates have supervisory experience and a drive to develop leadership and project

Qualifications

Experience in supervisory/site coordination roles.
Understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

Support the Construction Manager in delivering construction projects from start to finish.
Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating site activities.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives.
Attend site meetings and contribute to project planning and problem-solving.
Help manage project documentation, reports, and records.
Conduct site inspections and assist with quality assurance processes.
Identify and elevate potential risks, delays, or issues.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
