Job summary

Vistry Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for the Crewe Lane site in Kenilworth. You will assist the Site Manager to ensure safety compliance, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and maintain construction quality. You will support site operations, inspections, snagging, and customer-facing activities for a safe, efficient build.

Experience on new build housing and timber frame plots is desirable. A full UK driving licence and standard health & safety qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working on new build housing
• Experience in Timber Frame build of plots
• Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
• Valid SMSTS Certificate
• Valid CITB SEATS certificate
• Assisting in the management of all aspects of the build process
• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety, and environmental obligations and building legislation

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in ensuring site compliance with health and safety
• Coordinate subcontractors and materials to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Support site operations, inspections, snagging, and customer-facing activities
• Attend weekly site meetings and maintain site documentation
• Monitor quality control and ensure standards for trades and materials
• Support in risk management and corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with construction methods, health and safety regulations, and company policies, supporting the site manager in corrective actions and risk management.
• Coordinate with utility companies, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
• Attend and support weekly site meetings, promoting communication, standards, and safety.
• Maintain site presentation, secure necessary documentation, and manage site inductions for all personnel.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety practices, accident reporting, and environmental policies.

• Provide support in customer-facing activities, including home demonstrations, service visits, and addressing customer queries and issues.
