Job summary

Elvet Recruitment Limited has been appointed to recruit a Construction Manager for a growing residential developer. You will oversee construction activity across a portfolio of developments and support site teams while helping refine processes as the business grows.

You’ll work closely with commercial, technical and customer teams to influence how the organisation delivers quality homes and evolves over the next few years.

Job description

Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Construction Manager for a growing residential developer with strong future plans.

This role is perfect for a Contracts Manager who wants to bring their experience into a business that's scaling, investing and genuinely values strong operational leadership. You'll oversee construction activity across a portfolio of developments, support site teams, and help refine processes as the business grows.

You'll work closely with commercial, technical and customer teams, influencing how the organisation delivers quality homes and how it evolves over the next few years.

What we're looking for

• Strong supervisory skills to lead and support site teams, manage subcontractors and coordinate daily construction activities
• Experience in budgeting and project control, including planning, tracking and reporting on costs, timelines and resources
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and residential development processes
• Demonstrated commitment to construction safety and compliance with relevant legislation
• Previous experience in construction management, contracts management or site management within the residential sector
• Relevant professional qualifications (HNC/HND, degree or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with project management and site reporting tools
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
