About the Project

Sizewell C (SZC) is at the heart of the UK’s clean energy revolution. This ground-breaking nuclear power plant project in Suffolk will play a vital role in delivering a sustainable future. Backed by EDF and the UK Government, Sizewell C is a once-in-a-generation project with significant opportunities to innovate, grow, and deliver excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the reconstruction of a key section of the SZC works. You’ll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership and Strategic Execution: Developing and implementing detailed construction strategies and plans.
• Project Oversight: Ensuring safety and quality in delivering new projects into the Sizewell C project.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned for world-class project delivery.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and proven track record of their implementation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working within regulated environments.
• Leadership capabilities to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
• Technical knowledge of construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, influencing, and presentation abilities.
• Degree and chartered status in engineering, construction, or a related field are desirable.
