Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a freelance Construction Manager to deliver a high-profile 11-floor CAT A/B fit-out in Central London, overseeing shell-to-handover on 3–4 floors. You will report to the on-site Project Manager and drive the construction programme to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on a £200m project.

Required are strong leadership, experience with reputable contractors, SSMS/CSCS and First Aid at Work, with a track record of delivering complex fit-outs.

Qualifications

• Strong background delivering Cat A/B fit-out
• Experience with main contractors or fit-out specialists
• Proven ability to drive site performance
• Knowledge of H&S compliance and quality standards

The commercial fit out world has taken off in the last few weeks! One of my best customers has asked me to recruit for a Construction Manager based in the City of London.

About the role of Construction Manager

I'm Currently recruiting for an experienced freelance Construction Manager to work on a high-profile £200m project in Central London. It is an 11 floor CAT A and B fit out and we need a Construction Manager to deliver 3 / 4 floors from shell to handover, the contract will run until August 2027. You will report to a Project Manager based on site and your main responsibilities will be to run the fit out safely and on time.

Responsibilities for Construction Manager

• Lead & Manage day to day site operations
• Drive the programme and Sub-contraction coordination
• Ensure delivery of high-end finishes to a standard
• Maintain strict H&S compliance and quality standards

Requirements for Construction Manager

• Strong background working with reputable main contractors or fit-out specialists
• Strong leadership presence and ability to drive site performance
• Proven experience delivering Cat A/B fit-out (£35m+ preferred)
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
