Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead a flagship commercial fit-out in Central London on a long-term freelance contract. You will oversee 4-6 floors, work with the Project Director and site delivery team, and take ownership of programme management, subcontractor coordination, and safety across your zones.

• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on major commercial fit-out projects.
• Strong background delivering CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs.
• Experience managing multiple Sub-Contractors, floors, or zones simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of 4-6 floors on a large commercial fit-out project.
• Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and on programme.
• Driving quality standards and ensuring works are completed to the highest specification.
• Leading coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management.
• Managing site logistics, sequencing of works, and trade coordination.
• Conducting regular inspections and ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
• Resolving site challenges and maintaining project momentum through all phases.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join a flagship commercial fit-out project in Central London on a long-term freelance contract. This Senior Construction Manager role offers the chance to work alongside a leading main contractor, overseeing a major high-end commercial development and taking ownership of multiple floors throughout the delivery phase.

About the Role of Senior Construction Manager

As Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing between 4-6 floors of a large commercial fit-out project in Central London. Working closely with the Project Director, Project Managers, and site delivery team, you will take full responsibility for programme management, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and Health & Safety across your designated areas.

This is a fast-paced project requiring a strong leader with proven experience delivering large-scale CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-outs within occupied or live environments.

• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid qualification required
