Job summary

Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture is seeking a Control Tower Shift Manager to lead logistics operations on the HS2 London worksite. Based full-time on site at Willesden Junction, you will manage a team of logistics coordinators, drive performance, and coordinate with the Control Tower Manager and stakeholders to ensure seamless handovers and rapid escalation of incidents.

This role requires clear English communication, strong organisation, teamwork and problem solving to deliver high

Qualifications

Experience in Construction Logistics advantageous but not essential.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (essential).
Good organisation skills (essential).

Responsibilities

Promotion and implementation of SCS Core Values.
High Performing and Motivated Team.
Positive Engagement with the wider Logistics Team and the SCS Area Teams.
Completion of all shift tasks.
Good Relationship with the other shift manager to ensure smooth handover between shifts.
Control Tower Operations while on shift.
Daily briefings and high team performance.
Offering continuous improvement opportunities.
Deputising for Control Tower Manager when required
Escalation for any incidents / problem.
Management of Team Performance.
Good working relationship with all Stakeholders.
