Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a Construction Lecturer for a Further Education college in Milton Keynes. You will deliver practical and theory Construction sessions across levels, drawing on extensive industry experience to help learners develop essential skills.

The role requires planning, delivering high-quality lessons, assessing progress and maintaining a safe learning environment. Teaching experience is welcome, with industry expertise highly valued and opportunities for ongoing roles.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Construction qualification or higher.
• Strong industry experience within Construction.
• Teaching or training experience in FE, apprenticeships or similar desirable.
• A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, though industry experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based Construction sessions across relevant levels.
• Support learners to develop technical and practical skills for the industry.
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with curriculum requirements.

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £35-45 per hour or £43k per annum

Contract: Temporary or Permanent

Are you an experienced Construction professional looking to take the next step in your career within Further Education? We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Construction Lecturer to join a well-established FE College in Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who is looking to share their knowledge with the next generation of construction professionals, with teaching experience welcomed but industry expertise equally valued.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Construction sessions across relevant levels
• Support learners to develop the technical and practical skills required for the construction industry

What we are looking for:

• Relevant Level 3 or higher Construction qualification
• Strong industry experience within Construction and relevant trade knowledge
• Teaching or training experience within FE, apprenticeships or a similar environment is desirable
• A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, although industry experience will be considered
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
