Job summary

EDF Energy seeks a Construction Lead for the Hinkley Point C project. You will lead the PTLS construction team, ensuring safety, quality and adherence to the programme. The role requires managing managers and supervisors and maintaining strong on-site coordination.

The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, CSCS and SMSTS credentials, and a track record of improving team performance on major projects. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Strong construction knowledge relevant to mechanical installation, fabrication or comparable work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the PTLS construction team, taking ownership of performance, conduct and attendance.
• Establish accountability in the construction reporting line and ensure managers deliver commitments safely and to quality.
• Set priorities, assure performance, resolve escalated issues and maintain site visibility.
• Act as primary management lead for people matters including sickness absence, annual leave and disciplinary issues.
