A proactive approach to improving practices, ensuring personnel readiness, and enabling accurate planning is central to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and contribute to tender submissions, including pricing, scoping, and execution planning for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Accurately scope projects to define durations, costs, tooling needs, and resource requirements; approve quotations and manage associated procurement processes.
  • Oversee project lifecycle from initial survey through to closeout, including approval of CCHPs and daily progress monitoring via offshore reports.
  • Support and manage logistics, personnel mobilization, and daily operational coordination for offshore teams.
  • Provide technical input to HAZOP and HAZID meetings and attend DNV audits as the construction technical authority to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain oversight of construction focal points and ensure clear delegation of duties and accountability.
  • Monitor tooling inventory, manage tooling loss/damage follow-up, and ensure THC (Tooling Holding Certificate) accuracy.
  • Own the commercial performance of assigned projects, ensuring budget and contractual targets are met.
  • Support cross-project collaboration and knowledge sharing through 'exchange zones' and internal initiatives.
  • Provide a comprehensive onboarding experience for all project and contract personnel, with emphasis on new team members.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams in a project environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities, with flexibility to adapt to evolving project demands.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to meet tight deadlines.
