Job description

We are looking for a 4-8 PQE Associate / Senior Associate to join our thriving Construction practice. The team is currently based across our offices in Cardiff, Southampton, and Oxford, but we are also happy to consider interest from experienced construction lawyers who may prefer to work out of our other offices in Reading or London. Many team members work on both contentious and non-contentious matters, and we encourage the development of a wide skillset.

With our recent business wins trending towards challenging, high-profile work on the transactional side, the ideal candidate should be very familiar with JCT and NEC contracts from a construction and property development perspective. The candidate will ideally be eager to develop their project expertise across large infrastructure, rail, and green energy projects.

We support hybrid working, typically with 2-3 days of flexible office attendance according to business needs.

Skills / Experience Required

We are interested in candidates with high-caliber construction experience acquired at a leading national, regional, or City law firm. Candidates with in-house legal experience at major contractors, consultants, or public bodies will also be highly valued.
