Property Damage Solicitor – Coverage, Liability & Subrogated Recoveries

Location: London | Salary: Up to £115,000 | Job Type: Permanent | Work Pattern: Hybrid
PQE Level: Associate / Senior Associate (Solicitor or Legal Executive)

The opportunity

We are working with a leading law firm with a market-leading reputation in complex insurance litigation. As part of continued strategic growth, the firm is expanding its London Property Damage team and is seeking talented insurance litigators at Associate and Senior Associate level.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected insurance teams, working on a wide portfolio of high-value and high-profile disputes.

The work

You’ll advise on a broad spectrum of complex property damage cases for major UK and international insurers. Typical instructions include:

• High-value commercial property damage claims
• Complex coverage and liability disputes
• Subrogated recovery work
• Product liability and subsidence claims
• Large-scale incidents involving:
• Fires
• Water/chemical escapes
• Building collapses
• Criminal activity-related losses

What they're looking for

Candidates should have demonstrable experience in property damage or insurance litigation, ideally from a recognised team. The hiring partners are open to:

• Qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives
• Backgrounds in property damage, coverage, liability or other areas of subrogated loss
• Associates or Senior Associates looking for genuine progression opportunities
• Strong technical ability and commercial acumen
