Job summary

HL Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee multiple sites, manage teams and coordinate groundworks and landscaping works. You will ensure works align with drawings, specs and programmes, while maintaining high safety standards.

You will lead site crews, subcontractors and external contractors, conduct toolbox talks and inductions, and manage RAMS compliance, documentation and progress reporting across projects in the South East region.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years' experience within construction, landscaping, groundworks or a related sector.
• Confident managing people and site operations.
• Experience supervising construction/site-based teams.
• SSSTS and SMSTS qualifications - essential.
• Strong understanding of construction health & safety procedures.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is confident managing people and site operations, understands construction processes and documentation, and can ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard., 5-10+ years' experience within construction, landscaping, groundworks or a related sector.
• Proven experience supervising construction/site-based teams.
• SSSTS and SMSTS qualifications - essential.
• Strong understanding of construction health & safety procedures.
• Experience with RAMS, site documentation and project coordination.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and site operations.
• Experience in hard landscaping and external works.
• Some experience within soft landscaping would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence preferred., The successful candidate will be an experienced and confident Construction Supervisor / Site Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor who is comfortable working across multiple sites. You will have a strong construction background, excellent knowledge of site safety and documentation, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Experience in landscaping, groundworks or external works will be a strong advantage.
