Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group in Aylesbury is seeking an Industry Placement Officer for Construction to develop and manage work placements and strong employer partnerships. This full‑time role (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) is based on the Aylesbury Campus and involves working with employers, staff and learners to create meaningful industry opportunities.

You will be passionate about learning, support learners and staff to achieve more, and uphold safeguarding commitments while building

Qualifications

• Passion for learning and helping learners succeed
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students and staff
• DBS checks as part of safeguarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Generate new placement and work experience opportunities and act as the main contact for host employers
• Establish and develop strong, sustainable employer relationships
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure placements develop learners' technical and work-related skills across their chosen vocational sector
• Collaborate with employers, staff and students at the Aylesbury Campus to deliver meaningful industry placements
