Job summary

Optima Site Solutions is seeking a Health, Safety & Operations Support Manager for a full-time, permanent role based in Gravesend. The role involves hands-on site audits and office support, with 1–2 days on live projects per week.

You will champion policies and safety standards, assist with CPPs, and coordinate actions between site teams and directors. Based in Gravesend with flexible office/site split.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety management within construction projects.
• Ability to conduct site audits, report findings and drive corrective actions.
• Comfort communicating with site teams, contracts managers and directors.
• Willingness to split time between office and live project sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site health and safety audits and prepare follow-up reports.
• Track corrective actions and manage them through to close-out.
• Review and champion internal policies, procedures and health and safety documentation.
• Assist Contracts Managers with creating and managing site files.
• Support the preparation of Construction Phase Plans (CPPs).
• Provide operational support across office and site activities.
• Report directly to the Directors.
