Job summary

Ravenworth is seeking a Finance / Accounts Manager in the Greater London area to oversee day-to-day financial operations for a growing construction business.

The role includes CIS management, supplier payments, invoicing, and payroll, with a handover period of 6 months based in Barking IG11. You will support directors and help shape financial processes within a stable, long-term position.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction industry accounting with CIS knowledge.
• Proficient in UK bookkeeping and internal controls.
• Hands-on with Xero/Sage/Evolution or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
• Oversee CIS compliance, verify subcontractors, process CIS deductions, and returns.
• Handle invoicing, credit control, payments, and cashflow tracking.
• Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on financial queries.
• Manage weekly payroll and office administration for directors.
• Provide general document control and support to directors.
