Job summary

Vitae Financial Recruitment represents a well-established privately owned construction business seeking a Financial Controller on a fully on-site basis in Greenford. The role reports to the Finance Director, overseeing a small team and delivering month-end close, robust reporting, and strong financial controls.

You will manage cash flow, VAT/CIS/PAYE submissions, and budgeting, with a 10% discretionary bonus and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience in construction/contracting or project-based environments.
• Strong VAT, CIS and WIP accounting knowledge and strong financial systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and prepare monthly management accounts with strong control of GL.
• Manage cash flow and treasury reporting to the board.
• Ensure VAT, CIS and PAYE submissions are accurate and timely.
• Support annual budgeting and variance analysis.
• Develop Accounts Payable function and maintain robust controls.
• Lead ERP system improvements and financial process automation.
