Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Estimator - Construction to oversee a high-quality range of new build and refurbishment projects across industrial, residential and commercial sectors from Lancashire base.

You will lead end-to-end tendering, prepare cost estimates from drawings/specifications, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to maximise conversions while mentoring junior estimators.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating in construction projects.
• Experience with take-offs and pricing.
• Ability to manage tender opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end tendering for a broad range of projects.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using drawings and specifications.
• Lead tendering processes and handovers.
• Engage with clients and contractors through site visits and value engineering.
• Mentor junior estimators to strengthen delivery.
