Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an Estimator to join our Northwest-based team on a range of projects including commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience across industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors and will work on multi-million estimates with commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying.
• Experience using estimating software packages.
• Main contracting experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation.
• Work with supply chain to provide accurate tenders.
• Review supply chain tender returns.
• Prepare budget costings.
• Provide sales and estimating documentation.
• Work directly with the clients.
• Internal QA handover packs after contract awards.
• Attend internal pre-start meetings after contract awards.

We are working with a well established and reputable construction contractor who are looking for an Estimator to join their business in the Northwest. They work on a variety of projects including new build commercial, industrial, Education and healthcare projects.

The ideal individual will have experience of working within the industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors. Working on multi million estimates alongside commercial teams.

Roles, responsibilities and qualifications

• Review of tender documentation

• Working with supply chain to provide accurate tenders
• - Experience of Estimating Software packages
• Review of supply chain tender returns
• Preparation of budget costings

• Providing sales and estimating documentation

• Working directly with the clients

• Internal QA handover packs, subsequent to contract awards

• Attendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awards

• Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying

• Conversant in software packages such as Microsoft excel, word, outlook and notable construction estimating software packages

• Main contracting experience

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Driving licence
