Job summary

Confidential in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Document Controller for a permanent role supporting major construction projects across sectors. You will manage and control project documentation, ensuring accurate distribution and lifecycle maintenance.

You will work with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors, maintaining revision control and compliance with procedures to support handover and records management.

Qualifications

• Experience as Document Controller in construction projects.
• Ability to manage documentation across multiple projects and teams.
• Proficiency with common data environments and document control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
• Process, issue and track project drawings, specifications and technical docs.
• Ensure all information is filed, organised and accessible.
• Monitor document workflows and maintain revision control.
• Distribute information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain document registers and report on status.
• Support teams with document control processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate information submissions from consultants and subcontractors.
• Assist with handover documentation and record management.
