Burges Salmon LLP in London is seeking an experienced Legal Director to lead the contentious construction practice, handling complex disputes, including litigation, adjudication and arbitration, on national and international matters.

You will develop business, nurture client relationships and mentor senior associates, while shaping the team's strategy and continuing growth across Bristol, Edinburgh and London.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in complex, high-value construction disputes
• Strong track record of client relationship management, business development and practice growth
• Experience supervising, coaching and developing senior associates and other lawyers
• Strong matter leadership skills and commercial judgement
• Collaborative, inclusive approach and confidence contributing to the team's direction
• SRA or Law Society of Scotland registration

Responsabilités

• Lead, grow client relationships and progress within a top-ranked contentious construction team
• Manage and lead construction-related disputes including litigation, adjudication and arbitration
• Develop business and contribute to the team's growth and market profile
• Support senior associates and mentor lawyers across the practice
