Job summary

Sonder Consultants is assisting a leading international law firm in London to recruit an experienced construction disputes specialist. The role involves advising developers, contractors, investors and major corporates on complex disputes from significant projects, with exposure to litigation, arbitration and adjudication.

The candidate will take a leading role on high-value matters, manage junior lawyers and interact with sophisticated clients in a dynamic, cross-border environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years' PQE gained at a leading UK or international law firm.
• Significant experience advising on contentious construction and engineering matters, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience leading complex matters, managing junior lawyers and working directly with sophisticated clients.
• England & Wales qualified, or equivalent qualification with relevant UK construction disputes experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, contractors, investors and major corporates on complex disputes arising from construction, engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Take a leading role on high-value domestic and cross-border disputes, including litigation, arbitration and adjudication.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop strategy and manage client relationships.

Working as part of a highly regarded construction disputes team, you'll advise developers, contractors, investors and major corporates on complex disputes arising from significant construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. The role offers exposure to high-value litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other forms of dispute resolution, with the opportunity to take a leading role on major domestic and cross-border matters.

Requirements
