Brown & Wills Recruitment are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an architectural professional to join a long-established building contractor. The role focuses on coordinating the design process from pre-construction to delivery, ensuring designs are fully coordinated, buildable, and compliant with programme and commercial requirements.

You will bridge design and construction teams, translating architectural concepts into practical on-site solutions, with experience reading drawings

Qualifications

• Relevant architectural, architectural technology, construction or design qualification.
• Experience in a Design Coordinator, Architectural Technologist, Architectural Assistant or similar role.
• Experience working for a main contractor, specialist contractor, consultancy or architectural practice.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and buildability.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and technical drawings.
• Experience coordinating information between multiple design disciplines.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or other relevant design software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to delivery.
• Ensure designs are fully coordinated, buildable, compliant and aligned with the project programme and commercial requirements.
• Bridge the design and construction teams to translate architectural design into practical on-site outcomes.
