Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a 12-month project in Tutbury. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, unload deliveries and move materials safely while keeping the site clean and tidy.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures, proper PPE, and a positive, team-focused attitude. Working hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm on a site in Tutbury, with duties including housekeeping and following Site Manager instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous construction site and counterbalance experience is essential.
• Valid RTITB OR ITSAR Counterbalance Card.
• Full PPE supplied and worn on site.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Positive attitude and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating the Counterbalance Forklift
• Unloading deliveries and transporting materials safely
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times
• Carrying out any additional duties requested by the Site Manager
