Job summary

Aureos is seeking an Experienced Cost Clerk for a construction project to deliver accurate cost administration on-site. The role requires strong cost-control experience, collaboration with the commercial team, and rigorous documentation.

You will work closely with project managers and site teams to validate expenditure, forecast costs and support audit-ready working papers in a fast-paced environment. Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to site are required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths required.
• AAT or equivalent finance training desirable.
• Experience with cost-control in construction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project cost records and cost ledgers.
• Process POs, invoices, accruals and cost transfers.
• Monitor costs vs budgets and prepare cost reports.
• Support forecasting, cash-flow and applications for payment.
• Ensure correct cost-code allocation and approvals.
