Job summary

AWI Civitas in Birmingham, UK is seeking experienced Commercial Managers to oversee financial and contractual performance of construction projects or portfolios across the Midlands. You will lead the commercial management and coordinate with operations and project teams to ensure value delivery and risk control.

The role requires MRICS and MCIOB qualifications, strong contract knowledge with NEC/JCT, and a proven track record in managing budgets, forecasts and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management of construction projects or portfolios.
• MRICS and MCIOB qualifications are required.
• Full right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of construction projects across the Midlands.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and project financial performance.
• Oversee valuations, applications and payments.
• Manage subcontract accounts and procurement.
• Review and manage contractual obligations under NEC/JCT.
• Identify and manage commercial risks.
• Manage variations, claims and changes.
• Prepare commercial reports and forecasts.
• Manage final accounts.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams.
