Job summary

Aon is inviting applications for a hybrid Construction Broker/Account Handler role based in Liverpool or Manchester. You will manage bespoke insurance needs for UK construction clients, build relationships with clients and insurers, and contribute to market presentations and policy negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Piece together and prepare market presentations to brokers’ enquiries to insurers – including Project Specific placements and Latent Defects coverage.
• Negotiate policy terms for clients.
• Attend and arrange meetings with clients, underwriters and colleagues.
• Comply with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management including helping to build accurate and timely documentation, drafting bespoke slip and wording for stamping by insurers, record keeping and file notes.
• Identify revenue development opportunities on allocated client accounts and make recommendations to Client Managers.
• Liaise and interact with broking colleagues in Construction, Commercial Risk and the wider Aon network.
• Accurate updating and reporting from spreadsheets.

What The Day Will Look Like

Working within our highly respected UK Construction team you'll ensure the highest levels of service and technical advice are delivered to our portfolio of clientele. Daily responsibilities will include:
