Aon is inviting applications for the Construction Broker/Account Handler role, based in Liverpool or Manchester in a hybrid arrangement. You will service UK construction clients, present market options, negotiate policy terms, and coordinate with clients, underwriters and colleagues to deliver high-quality risk protection.

• Piecing together and preparing market presentations to broker clients' enquiries to insurers.
• Negotiate policy terms for clients.
• Attend and arrange meetings with clients, underwriters and colleagues.
• Complying with regulatory standards and maintaining accurate documentation and file notes.
• Identifying revenue development opportunities on allocated client accounts.
• Liaising with broking colleagues in Construction, Commercial Risk and the wider network.
• Accurate updating and reporting from spreadsheets.

What the day will look like

Working within our highly respected UK Construction team you'll ensure the highest levels of service and technical advice are delivered to our portfolio of clientele. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Piecing together and preparing market presentations to broke clients' enquiries to insurers.
• Negotiate policy terms for clients
• Attend and arrange meetings with clients, underwriters and colleagues
• Complying with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management including helping to build accurate and timely documentation, record keeping and file notes.
• Identifying revenue development opportunities on allocated client accounts and making recommendations to Client Managers
• Liaising and interacting with broking colleagues in Construction, Commercial Risk and the wider Aon network
• Accurate updating and reporting from spreadsheets
