Job summary

A reputable construction firm in Eastleigh is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The role offers flexible working arrangements, with potential part-time options available. Responsibilities include managing bookkeeping duties, CIS compliance, and financial reporting. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience, ideally 2+ years within the construction industry.
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping duties including accounts payable/receivable.
• Manage the monthly CIS returns ensuring compliance with HMRC.
• Prepare and file VAT returns on time.

Skills

Strong understanding of CIS compliance and regulations

Proficient in Sage accounting software

Excellent organisational skills

Strong communication skills

Education

AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent bookkeeping/accounting qualification
