Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper in Tredegar, South Wales. The role is part-time (up to 32 hours per week) and focuses on CIS, VAT and construction-sector bookkeeping within an SME environment.

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, process CIS payments and VAT returns, and support the wider finance function with accuracy and independence. Hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bookkeeper with CIS and VAT knowledge.
• AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience handling CIS deductions and subcontractor payments.
• Experience in SME environment with accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the business.
• Process CIS subcontractor payments and deductions.
• Prepare monthly management information and VAT returns.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist month-end processes.
